Im not giving my 2 year old my iPad Air to play with when she has her own iPad 1 Most newer apps require IOS 6 or higher this one does not                Works on an iPad 1 yay
The words on the app are a bit advanced for my two year oldhoweverit follows the format of the other apps and she loves it As she gets older and her reading progresses well use it more often                I love the endless apps
Thanks for the tip John August                Scriptnotes
This is great for children to learn the alphabet it would be much better if there was an option for words to appear in random order rather than only alphabetically Also some of the definitions could be more precise and accurate New words are rarely added so it gets old          Some great aspects
Both of my kids absolutely love this app and theyve learned so much                FANTASTIC
Awesome app Both my students and children enjoy this app It teachesreviews letter sounds and vocabulary Very colorful and child friendly                One of the best
My kids have so much fun with this app                Awesome
I think its a great teaching tool             Great
My daughter loves thisFix the problem for 5 starsThe problemThe home button is too easy for a kids little fingers to touch while holding the phone and spelling words It ruins the flow each time My daughter is old enough to repeat letters and words and to drag the letters over and spell things but she accidentally touches the home button all the timeThe wishMore new words The only thing ever in the New section are ads for other of the developers games       One major problem one wish
My boys love it I truly believe it helped them learn abc plus the sound they make early for their age Very fun for them                Love this app
I got this app a few years ago when it was still a free app My almost 7 year old loved it back then and my 4 year old loves it now In a world where kids constantly want to play games on anyones phone or iPads we find ourself looking for educational based apps for them to play I came across this app again and knew I had to download it I didnt have to pay for my purchase since I had gotten it in the past but I would have gladly paid whatever the current price tag is This app is wonderful on so many levels I highly suggest you download it                Still love it
With my help in the beginning my sons now 2 12 and 4 really caught on fast to the alphabet from this game It was fun challenging at first and eventually grew with them to teach spelling They still get a kick out of playing                My kids learned their alphabet with this game
My child does not grow bored of this app He cracks up on the animation and the letters funny way of sounding themselves out I wish there was a way to prompt children to spell words in order from left to right in some way and that the letters were ever so slightly less sensitive when being put into place                Entertaining and Educational
My kids love this But for some reason it is now charging 7 I had to make a new account for my old iPad so the kids could play with it and now it wont let me download it there Can I send it from one account to another some how                Cant download
Even kids with complex learning difficulties are inspired to learn and interact and sound out letters with help of the engaging interactive animation features in this fantastic edutainment package Even if you think my child could never do this try it anyway My two cents based on our experiences                Wow what an awesome learning tool for all kids
Great App My two year old knows all his letters Graphics sharp animations are top notch                Lovely
My 4 year old 2 year old boys love this app Fun creative humorous AND most importantly educational                Absolutely love it
My 3 year old son did not want to learn his letter but after play this for a few weeks He loves writing his letters and sounds them out Amazing                Amazing
This is an excellent app The music and animations that accompany the words are truly inspired As an iOS engineer I can appreciate that they took the time to get multitouch working something I find young kids expect but adult users dont even think to try I love that there are new words that magically appear every time I launch the app                Brilliant
My son will be 2 in about 3 weeks but it still technically 1 He has a handful of phrases he says and has started to recognize letters I bought this app 2 days ago and each day he has played it for about 10 minutes each day At first he wasnt understanding the concept of moving the colored letter over to the grayhollowed out space where the letter should go But today he opened the app on his own picked a word and did it all by himself He did it again on the same word and then moved to the next one Its amazing to watch him match up the letters to words like nibble underneath and vegetable and then say it out loud and then watch the little characters demonstrate the word thereby helping to learn the meaning I guess I was expecting little words like catdog bird frog and to see these multisyllable words and hes still INTERESTED its amazing Im very impressed with this app and hope he goes to it everyday for a few minutes It has made a difference in just 2 days                My 1year old can do this
This app is cute no mistaking it However I do not recommend it and dissuade others from presenting it to their kids Though fun and well intended it misinforms developing minds how to sound out letters as one would for stringing the sounds together for reading The Endless Reader app does not correct this Having realized the confusion caused via this teaching model our daughter no longer plays with this application And despite subsequent teaching presented to retrain her awareness and not having played the app in months our five year old continues to express letter sound habits learned from this app For example when sounding out letters in a word shell tell us the sound of L is la la la la la la laIn addition the fact the letters can be placed in any order rather than only left to right created confusion Lastly presenting everything in capital letters didnt facilitate accurate use or awareness of the alphabet Again the app is wonderfully clever and fun She loved playing with it Hindsight informs however that its cuteness and entertainment value are not worth the habits learned    In the long run not impressed
Great app for my almost 3 year old                Love it
My daughters preschool teacher told me she thought my sprout was ready to sight learn her letters We have been using this app for three days and she can already pick out 5 letters and she has learned 9 new words not to mention she loves the monsters and their sounds We play together every night before story time                My daughter love love loves this app
Great for my 34 year old                Great
Excellent app both for kids and for parents                Adults and kids
I want to give this app head                Mmm
Ive seen some complaints about the letter sounds not being exactly right They may not be exact but its not that noticeable to me and this shouldnt be the only tool in your educational fun box My kids love it and also love the reader and numbers apps from Originator I like the animations too I rarely pay for apps These Originator apps are worth it                My kids love it and I like the animations too
I first bought this app for my daughter when she was a little over a year old Oh was it so worth the relatively high price for an iPad game The game itself is that easy to play and the little cartoon rewards are both educational and fun Two years later its still one of her favorite games and still pretty guilt free for me as I know how well she has learned her letters because of it The only thing I wish is that they added some simpler vocabulary words as well but I since found Endless Reader which focuses on the simpler sightwords Endless Numbers is also well worth the price                Fun and enjoyable way to learn letters
Children are taught lower case letters before they are taught capital letters This app needs an update to account for this Perhaps it would be good to have a toggle or option to mix in capitals and lower case for children who are learning the difference For early learners it would be a big advantage to have lower case letters Do that and I can give it 5 stars             Excellent App Needs Lower Case letters
My almost 3 year old loves this app Best of all he has learned his letters Super cute monsters and we love how he gets new words often                Best App Ever
A great app the kids love it and the parents are happy that they are secretly learning                Bravo
We have never really let him play with phoneselectronicsgame consoles By chance at the Apple store a month ago he came across this game It looked like a perfect game to help with learning sounds letters make so we decided to download it He loves playing it He makes the letter noises now when we are working with him on spelling He also thinks the wah wah noise is hilarious But there is definitely a NEED for new words Its called ENDLESS alphabet How did we already run out of words             My 4yo son loves this game
I took a gamble on the hefty 7 price tag in hopes that my 3year old would love this app The animations are quite adorable but I found that overall the app is just ok The words are pretty difficult for small children ie Bellow gargantuan and after they match the letters and watch a short albeit adorable definition of the word thats it I would have liked to see some associated activities for the price I paid Maybe tracing activities or other language expansion This app wouldve been worth maybe 3          Cute app but one dimensional
Ive had this app for maybe two years now Its such a well done app great visuals interactive learning and very reliable                Always a hit with toddlers
Colorful interactive easy to navigate Eyecatching graphics and earcatching audio As an educator 10years early elementary I prefer the method that this app teaches the alphabet While learning the ABCs is also important learning about letters at a young age within the context of actual words I think is terrific Also the chunks of time where the child cant interact with the game are EXTREMELY short So the quick Im bored now clicking to something else factor is lessened somewhat Overall extremely useful for kids any age that can effective interact with the iPadI note regarding a previous review complaining about the word difficulty If you have a child in a prereading stage lets say 3 years old then something like Endless Reader would be moreappropriate AS A READING PREP This game while its packed with fairly complex words is still really more of an alphabetbuilder That being said a child just starting to read could very well come back to this game and really enhance their vocabulary going forwardFinal note For the record I dont know the developers of this game from a hole in the ground Im gushing about it because I have a 23 year old and have been through dozens of mostlyworthless education apps Cant speak about the prices versus the going rate for educational apps I just know the learning component is worthwhile                Excellent vocabulary enhancer
It entertains and educates My son enjoys watching the monsters antics after spelling the new words He even uses his newly discovered vocabulary words Great app                My fiveyear old loves it
My son learned his abcs here but recently it just open on intro then suddenly close Pls fix             Nice app but keeps crashing lately
This is a cute ideaover and over againIts a fun little educationalish thing But lets not kid ourselves that it has any teaching valueMy kids liked and played it Then they moved on       Nice for a the first 10 minutes
Got this for my two year old nephew and it was a hit He gets so excited when he gets the letters right and completes a word A great app for learning the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes                Must have for toddlers
And so do I He now knows all his letters and their sounds by playing this game                My 2 year old loves this app
I have sold this app to so many parents Thanks                Kids adore this app which is great for adults
My child knew his ABCs prior to using this APP Once he started using this APP instead of saying A he started saying Aaaaaaaa As when you are hold down a letter before putting it down it will stutter This APP couldnt of been designed by anyone whos worked with the 24 year age group and has tried teaching ABCs Imagine your childs teacher starting to reach this way Aaaaaaaaaaa is for Apple You would send the teacher to a mental asylum    This APP might make your child stutter
So I got this app for my little brother when he was 2 years old At that time this app was free and he has loved it since Every little child he has played it around also wants to have the same app Its really a good way for children to learn the alphabet and big words and now they have even more apps not just this one He has all the apps because it really does help Great app love it                Best kids app ever
I got this app along with their Endless Alphabet app for my 1 12 year old God son he absolutely adores it Its super easy for him to maneuver in the app and choose which word hed like to work on next The app has truly helped the development of his sounds and letter recognition its brilliant Ive have since told any friend and family member with little ones to get this app                Leo loves letters
Love it but for price needs more words                Great
Love this app was looking for a learning app for me daughter and downloaded well over 15 apps for free I have deleted all but this one She loves it She is only one so these words are hard for her to repeat but she matches the letters great We only speak Spanish with her now so I really wish they would come out with a Spanish version that I would happily pay more than 7 forover all love it                Love it
My daughter loves this app She is 2 and can not only identify what each letter is she now tells people the sound it makes This made a world of a difference in teaching her the alphabet Her pediatrician if floored by that fact that she can do all of that Amazing and I suggest everyone gets this for their child                Love this app
My three year old son learned his letters easily mostly due to this app                Learned his letters
Love the concept love the adorable animations I recommend all the Originator apps                Love this group
All my kids love this app Even my 18 month old My only complaint is a few sounds are not said correctly But cute and fun                Wonderful
